Why I built this
I spent the last ten years building startups in tech. I also smoked.
The first time I quit, I stopped in the evening and felt proud. The next morning I took my dog for a walk, reached for a pack that was not there, and walked straight to the shop to buy a new one.
That morning taught me something. Stopping is not only about willpower. It is about seeing your decision every day, feeling proud of it, and keeping a physical reminder at home.
So I built this. A frame that holds the thing I walked away from, and counts every second since I put it down.
With this on my wall, I will not start again.
What will you put behind the glass?
The message is yours to choose. Here are the moments people are proud to mark, whether they stopped something or started something new.

Questions
When will it be delivered?+
Every founder unit is sent before 15 November 2026 and delivered before 5 December 2026, worldwide. In time to give as a gift for Christmas.
Is there an app?+
Yes. A companion app for iPhone and Android. Your timer syncs to the cloud, so you can check it on your phone and smartwatch, and adjust the time when you need to.
How does it connect?+
Over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You set it up from the app in a few seconds, and it keeps accurate time on its own.
How is it powered, and what about battery life?+
It charges over USB-C. The built-in battery runs it for about a week, or you can keep it plugged in. If power ever runs out, a backup battery keeps your count alive for about a year, so you never lose your streak.
Can I change the text on it?+
Yes. The message is fully yours. Use anything from I chose to stop, to day one, to a name. It is your milestone.
Can I use it for something I started, not stopped?+
Absolutely. Put an artifact of a new chapter behind the glass, turn on the timer, and count up from day one. Proud to stop, or proud to start.
What can I put behind the glass?+
Anything small and light that marks your decision. A pack, a cork, a chip, a photo, a note. Or leave it empty.
Is this a medical or cessation device?+
No. It is a keepsake for celebrating your milestones. It makes no health claims.
How does the reservation work?+
A small deposit locks your founder price and your place in line. It is fully refundable, and it counts toward your order when we launch.
Can I get a refund?+
Yes. Your reservation is fully refundable, and buyers in the EU keep the standard 14 day right of withdrawal.
When is the Kickstarter?+
Soon. Founder reservations get the lowest price we will ever offer and ship first, before the public campaign.
What is it made of?+
A CNC aluminum body, a premium glass front, a magnetic back for easy access, and a bright LED display.
